Grandparents Love

I loved these photos of my Aunt and Uncle with their granddaughter because they show the great love that they have for each other. I used my Cuttlebug to add some swiss dots to some American Crafts foiled paper and placed it under the top photo. I used the Martha Stewart border punch on a piece of My Mind's Eye Stell and Rose paper collection. I used the Silhouette to cut out the words and also the journaling top note shape.

Scrapbooking

I am trying to get photos of my extended family all scrapbooked and put into the correct albums. It has been fun working on these. On the first layout I used my Silhouette to cut out that fun swirly circle embellishment and the tab behind the photo. I stamped on the tab with my mini4circles Stamps of Life set. This stamp set has so many words and sayings so it is very versatile. I used a scrap of GCD Studios paper. I love the designs and colors this company uses. The other stamps are from a Cloud 9 set.

On the second layout I used my Silhouette to cut out that fun star shape and also the brown journaling spot where I will add the journaling at a later date. I usually will either print it out on the computer or use my Silhouette with sketch pens. I used a Martha Stewart corner punch on the Cloud 9 patterned paper to make a small embellishment for the lower right hand corner.

More Family scrapbooking

I enjoyed doing more layouts the other day. On the first layout I used the Silhouette to cut out the circle background. I used papers from my scrap stash on this layout along with American Crafts cardstock. The small tab was cut using the Silhouette also.

On the second layout I used a background that I had cut out using my Silhouette machine because I thought the color was just right and it made a good backdrop for my photo. I used a Martha Stewart border punch to punch out the piece of trim that I added to the upper right hand corner and the small tab behind the photo was cut out using my Silhouette and stamped with stamps from the Mini4circles set from Stamps of Life.

Wedding Thank you cards

I am creating a set of thank you cards for part of a friends wedding present for this summer. I used the latest monthly set from Stamps of Life and the sentiment is from a TC Studios set. The colors are this friends wedding colors. I also decided to use my Tim Holtz distresser to distress around the image. I used my Tim Holtz ditress inks to ink around and stamp the image.

Best Wishes

This card was made to add to my card stash. I cut out the lattice design with my Silhouette SD and put it on My Minds Eye Stella and Rose Hattie patterned paper using Spray Adhesive. The "Best Wishes" stamp is a clear stamp from TC Studios and I used Tim Holtz distress ink.

Happy Birthday

I created this fun birthday card today to add to my stash of cards.

Supplies used: GCD Studios patterned paper, Happy Birthday circle cut with Silhouette SD, Inkadinkadoo stamps, ribbon from my stash.

Happy Birthday to my son!!!!

It is hard to believe that my youngest turns 13 today!!! WOW where has time gone?? Here is the card that I created today for him.

Supplies used: digital stamp, My Mind's eye Stella and Rose hattie patterned, paper, AC cardstock for letters cut with Silhouette SD, Tim Holtz distress ink.

Catching up on family scrapbooks

I am so behind on my family photo scrapbooks. I am trying to get caught up. I finished a couple pages today but have yet to add the journaling.

Supplies used: I used my Silhouette SD to create the fun diamond background behind the Thicker stickers. Snowflakes were cut with the Silhouette and so was the tag. I will add some journaling on the tag.

Creating with Digital Images

I found some fun new digital images to make some fun cards. I wanted to use my new My Mind's Eye 6 X 6 patterened papers.

Supplies used: Minis4circles Stamps of Life stamp set, iamroses flowers, prima paper, My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose Mabel paper pack, bakers twine.

I enjoyed trying a new technique with these cards. I colored in the digital images with colored pencils and blended them using mineral spirits. It was easy to do and I like the blended look.

Creating cards

I enjoyed creating some cards today using a couple Stamps of Life stamp sets. I love coffee so the first one I created was using the Stamps of Life coffee stamp set and also I incorporated a Fiskar stamp set as a background. I enjoyed doing some paper piecing on the coffee card. The second card I created was using the monthly stamp set from the Stamps of Life which was an Easter set. I used the bunny, flowers and grass to create a scene. I inked the sky using Tim Holt distress ink. It was a birthday card for a friend so I stamped Happy Birthday in the sign the bunny is holding.
