Tsunami Rose Design Team Project
The challenge this week was to use "Butterflies" and these beautiful "New Beginnings" Printable journal file. If you want to have these images to use in your projects you can find them here. I took a piece of Wassua cardstock that was 10 X 7 and folded it in half. I then took 3 different laces and trims from my stash and layered them on the top of the card. I then added some rhinestone bling mesh to the center of the two colors of laces. I added some beautiful paper flowers in 2 shades of purples in groups of three to each side of the card on the top. I got these from craftsupplies1 on etsy. I then took a ditto chipboard resist butterfly and inked it with Seedless Preserves Tim Holt ink and added it to the top left hand side of the card. Thanks for looking.

Cute and Girly challenge
It is always fun to do challenges and find new challenge blogs. The challenge here for January is "Cute and Girly". I used a Recollections corrugated cardboard card base. I used some Echo Park "Love Story" patterned paper which I punched using my Martha Stewart punch around the page punch. I loved using this adorable Greeting Farm image and coloring here with my Copics. I added some pink stickles to her glasses to give her some sparkle. I added three small flowers in the bottom right corner that came from craftsupplies1 on Etsy.com. Thanks for looking.

I am showcasing a card that I made with a beautiful printable file from here. I used a piece of white Wassau cardstock cut to 10 X 7 and folded in half for a 5 X 7 card. I added one of the beautiful printable papers from this set. I added some beige lace on each side of the strip with some pink flowers trim on the left side of the card. I added a beige flower that I got from craftsupplies1 on Etsy along with some arcyllic flowers from my stash. I colored up the Emma image from "In Love Emma" from SP&Company stamps with my Copic markers. I added her to the bottom right of my card with pop dots. I stamped the "Just for you" sentiment that comes in this same stamp set. Thanks for looking.

Greeting Farm - Double Take Tuesdays
The challenge on the Greeting Farm blog is to use blue and yellow. Yellow is not a color that I use a lot or really like but I did enjoy this challenge. I used some teal patterned paper from my stash on the background of my card. I colored up the "Anya Treats" image with my Copic markers and added a pearl heart to the flower on her hat. I added some beautiful crochet lace from craftsupplies1 on etsy along with the two white paper flowers in the bottom left hand corner. The yellow flower is from recollections and I received it in a RAK. I made the stick pin with a yellow flower bead that I got from craftsupplies1 and added it behind the flowers. Thanks for looking.
SP Trends Challenge #2
I love the challenges that Samantha at SP&Company is having this year. The one for this weeks is to use Hexagons. You can find the challenge here. I do love this new trend and find it very fun to use hexagon pattern paper and I also have a hexagon die from My Favorite Things. I used a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park as my background piece of paper. The stamp that I used is a free digital image that is available from SP&Company at www.thescrapmaster.com in their online store. I loved coloring this adorable Emma in with my Copic markers. I used the My Favorite thing hexagon die to cut out the same Echo Park paper and then I stamped an alphabet stamp set to spell out the word "Love". I added the hearts from the SP&Company stamp set called "Tiny Build a Banner" that was a part of the December monthly kit. I also added 3 paper flowers that I received from Craftsupplies1 on etsy. Thanks for looking.

First Design Team Project for Craftsupplies1
I had so much fun using the supplies in my design team package from Craftsupplies1 on etsy. She sells wonderful flowers, trims, beads, and charms. Here is what I created:
Great News for January
I was approached from a friend on Youtube in December about an etsy shop that has a design team and was looking for some more members so I contacted Julie at www.etsy.com/shop/craftsupplies1 and gave her my information. She offered me a place on her design team and so in January she sent me my very first design team package. You can find the video here:

The challenge this week here is a sketch challenge. I love using my new Greeting Farms stamps because they are so fun to color and to paper piece. I had fun coloring up "Blush Babbette" with my Copic markers. The patterned papers that I used were from the Echo Park "Love Story" patterned paper pack. I stamped the sentiment along the bottom strip of paper using my Tuxedo Black Menmento ink. I added some paper flowers that I got in my design team package from Craftsupplies1 on Etsy.com. Greeting Farm "Farm Fresh Friday" Challenge
The Friday challenge at the GF is to use something NEW while I think my latest GF stamp "Gracie" qualifies as new since I just got her from the latest release. She is adorable and so fun to paper piece. I used some zebra print patterned paper from the Echo Park "Love Story" collection to paper piece her hat and her jacket. I colored in the rest of the image with my Copic markers. I added a piece of shiny pink neon colored DCWV cardstock to the A2 size card base. I then used some neon yellow shiny DCWV cardstock and punched it with my heart Fiskars border punch. I added it to the bottom of the card. I then took a neon green DCWV cardstock and punched it with my scalloped sentiment Fiskar border punch and adhered it to the card on top of the yellow strip. I popped dotted my Gracie image and added her to the right hand side of my card. I added some beautiful paper flowers that I got from an wonderful etsy shop called "Craftsupplies1". Thanks for looking.
SP Trends Challenge #1
SP&Company stamps have a wonderful monthly kit club where you get a monthly package that includes a stamp set and a 6 X 6 Echo Park paper pad. I love how versatile there stamps are and such high quality. They have started having a new challenge that is biweekly and the first one is to use "Chevrons". You can find the information here. This was a fun challenge and helped me to use my Chevron background stamp that I had purchased from SP&Company. I also used the Vintage October "All Zipped up" stamp set to stamp out the pocket with my Memento ink on some American Crafts pink cardstock. I added a piece of trim from my stash along the bottom of the card. I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the "Winter Pocket Fillers" svg cut on some Wassau white cardstock and then I used my pink Colorbox ink and stamped out the heart lollipop stamp from the Vintage October "Winter Pocket Fillers" stamp set. I then used my blue chalk Versamagic ink to stamp out another heart lollipop. I placed the lollipops on the card first and the covered them up with the pocket. I will use this card as a Valentine for one of my children. Thanks for looking.
