Digital image card

I used a digital image from here to create this fun flowerly card. I cut the image out with my Spellbinders Teardrop Circle die. I then distressed the edges with my Walnut Stain distress ink and then added some Frayed Burlap. I colored the flowers using my distress inks and a colorless blender pen. The butterfly was fussy cut from a piece of Webster's Pages designer paper. I used some recollections bling beside the sentiment that I stamped from a Fiskars Peel and Stick stamp set. I also added some rain dot flowers from Cloud 9 around the bling. Thanks for looking.

Digital challenge card

I decided to use this cute bunny image from here. I used some patterned paper from my scrap stash. I used a Spellbinders label die and cut a couple of those to layer together. I also used my scallop border die from My Favorite things and placed it behind the label. I also cut out a Spellbinder's Shapabilities die and put it at the bottom of the card and stamped my sentiment from a Fiskar Simple Stick sentiment stamp set. I used some arylic wheatsprays that I bought from Etsy along with some flowers from my stash. I made the cute butterfly in the corner using my Martha Stewart silicone mold and pouring UTEE in my Melting pot and coloring it with some Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Spray.

Stamper's Best Card

I loved this stamper's Best stamp when I saw it because it is so great for masculine cards. My Dad was a mechanic so I figured this would be the perfect card for him. I used the Echo Park Dots & Stripes pattern paper. Thanks for looking.

Digital Challenge Card

I love the digital images that you can find at DigiDarla's. She also has a blog with very fun challenges that you can find here. I also noticed that at SweetStamps the challenge is also "Think Spring". This card definitely qualifies for both challenges. I used an adorable DigiDarla image and colored her in with my Copics. I used my labels 22 die to cut a piece of patterned paper from the Echo Park "This & That" Charming paper collection which I used as a background for my image. I used some Martha Stewart ink around the edges of the image. I used a fun stamp in the background that I received from Stampersbest.com and it is from a set called Ornamental Grunge Tags which I stamped with Versamark ink and then used some Magical Mica poweder from Lindy Stamp Gang to make it shine. The tag that I used to put at the bottom is also from that same stamp set. I used some flower brads from my stash and some rhinestones. I stamped the sentiment from the SP& Company stamp set called "Pure Happiness". I also added some flowers that I received today in a RAK from a fellow Youtuber (mommy24cs). Thanks for looking.

Guest Designer for SP&Company Stamps blog

I won a spot as a Guest Designer on the SP&Company Stamps blog so here is my project and post:

When I received my SP&Company stamp set called "Pure Happiness" I thought that it would go perfectly with a custom AccuCut die that I purchased from Bona here.





If you want to complete this project you will need: die, patterned paper, adhesive, inks, stamp set, squeeze punch, vintage paper, glimmer mist, embossing powder.

I took the designer paper that came in the kit from Bona and glued it to the coffee cup die using my Score Tape and Scotch quick dry adhesive. I then glued the top of the coffee cup on with my ATG tape. I glued the patterned paper sleeve on the card leaving the front part open so I could slip in a coffee gift card.

I decided to create a flower out of the scalloped Fiskars squeeze punch. I punched 8 scalloped circles out of some vintage lined paper and then I sprayed them all with glimmer mist in the Olive Green color.

I then heat set them all with my heat embossing tool. I then stacked them all up and punched a hole in the center with my Crop-a-dile. I then placed a brad from my stash in the center.


I then starting with the first layer crumbled each one upwards.


When I finished doing that then I just carefully undid each layer until I was happy with how the flower turned out.


I then decided to create an embossed resist butterfly to add as embellishment. So I first stamped out the Circletastic Background stamp from SP&Company using my Tim Holtz peeled paint distress ink.

I then took my Embroidered Butterfly stamp from Layers of Colors and stamped it using my Versamark ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I then took my Tim Holtz Aged Maghony distress ink and using my ink blending tool I blended the ink over the butterfly.

I then fussy cut around the butterfly image so I could pop dot it onto the front of my coffee card. I used some foam adhesive to adhere it to my card and bended it slightly to give it some added dimension. I also added some Recollections bling under the flower.

I stamped the lines from the "Pure Happiness" SP Stamp set in Peeled Paint distress ink and the words "Pure Happiness" were stamped with Memento Black ink and then the words "hot cocoa" were stamped in the peeled paint distress ink also. I cut out a banner shape and foam dotted it to the front of the card.

Digital Image Card

It is so fun to use digital images on your cards because they are so versatile and you can change the size and manipulate them to fit your card and project. It is very fun to get images and take part in challenges here. The image for this card is from Lia Stampz. It is a very cute little girl that I colored in with my Copics. The patterned paper that I used was from the Echo Park Times & Seasons paper pad. I used my Fiskars scallolped sentiment punch on the small piece that I used as a border along the card side.

Progressive Digital Challenge Card

I love receiving fun digital images to use on my projects and I have received so many adorable ones from here. This image is a great floral image that was created by Pattie's Creations. I loved coloring this image in with my Copic markers. The patterned papers I used were from the Echo Park This and That Charming collection which was in my SP & Company February stamp kit. The sentiment on the card was from the SP& Company "Sympathy & Care" stamp set that was in the kit also. I love all the sentiments on this set and they don't just have to be used for sympathy cards.

Digital Challenge card

I love receiving digital images from here to use on my projects. It is a progressive challenge that goes on for quite some weeks and some one is lucky enough to win a prize. I loved this little girl image that Back to Paper created. I colored her in with my Copics and used some of my favorite My Mind's Eye patterned paper from the Follow My Heart set. I used a paper flower from my stash, a Spellbinders flower that I diecut and a flower pearl from SaCrafters store. I also added a paper flower from my stash on her belt. Thanks for looking.

Simon Says challenge card

The challenge this week on Simon Says which you can find here is "Anything Goes".I decided to use an adorable "Country Boy" digi that I got from Digi Darla and you can find her here with some amazing digital images for sale and even a few freebies. The background cheveron patterned paper is from my SP&Company's monthly kit and is from the Echo Park "This & That" Charming paper pad. The blue star patterned paper is from one of the newest My Minds Eye collections called "Follow Your Heart" the Be Amazing collection. I cut the digital image out using my Spellbinders Label 8 die and then I glued it onto a piece of Cloud 9 Riley Bay collection paper and cut around it. I inked the edges of the digital image with my Old Paper distress ink and colored the image in with my Copics. I decided to use one of the great sentiments from the newest SP&Company stamp set called "Sympathy and Care". I love how these sentiments can mean so many things and be used for lots of different purposes. I have NEVER been disappointed yet with any of the monthly stamp sets.
