Digi Darla Weekly Challenge

This week the challenge at DigiDarla is "Anything with Wheels". I didn't have any images from DigiDarla that had wheels so I looked through their website and found this adorable old truck that I knew would come in handy to make masculine cards with so I purchased it. If you have never checked out DigiDarla for digital images you really should give them a try. They are very wonderful images that are so fun to color in. I used a piece of washi tape along the bottom of my card and a piece of patterned paper from Basic Grey along with my colored image from Digi Darla.

Scrap-It Girl Monthly challenge

The challenge for the month of July here is "good things come in small package" so I decided to alter this cute little composition book that I received in a RAK this week. I wanted to use my new Vintage Marketplace paper by Bazzil and my newest Sizzix die which is a fringed flower. I added a butterfly bling that I also received in a RAK this week and a piece of vintage lace along with some washi tape. Thanks for looking and for hosting a very fun challenge.

DigiDarla Weekly Challenge

I decided to use this fun penquin image because it looked so nice and summery. I created a birthday card using my latest SP&Company stamp set called "Swirly Doos" for the sentiment. I colored this adorable image with my Copics and Spectrum Noir markers. Thanks for looking.

Stampers Best Love card

I love butterflies and so when I saw this lovely butterfly stamp I just really wanted to create a card. I found some green patterned paper and lace in my stash to make the card complete. Thanks for looking.

Stampers Best Card

I really liked this new friendship sentiment from Stampers Best so I wanted to create a card right away. I used some patterned paper and because it had a butterfly I thought it would be perfect to add a wood veneer butterfly that I painted with distress crackle paint. I love how this wonderful sentiment looks stamped on the front of this card. I took a butterfly deep edge punch and punched some patterned paper and placed it in the inside edge. Thanks for looking.

SP&Company Blog Hop Challenge

It is that time of month were SP&Company announcing their new stamp sets for the month and does a blog hop. There is always a challenge of some kind to go along with the hop and this month the challenge is "Royal Blue" for a color challenge. I decided to break out and use a stamp set that I had purchased from there but hadn't used yet and that is the Mini Card Creations. I also used the flower from the "Every Woman" stamp set. The paper flower on my card is handmade from a fellow crafter that I met on Youtube whose channel is itripledogdareu. I received the yellow bling in the center of the flower from Marla Rizzo (another fellow Youtuber) and also the wonderful grey flowers. The paper stack I used was DCWV Tradewinds that I won in a giveaway. Thanks for looking.

Digi Darla challenge

The challenge at DigiDarla this week is "2 X 2". You are supposed to have two of something on your card. I chose this adorable girl image and colored her in with my Copics. I used 2 clouds and there are 2 butterflies on this card. I used the Echo Park "Happy Together" patterend paper, some washi tape from a Youtube friend. Thanks for another great challenge!!

Stampers Best Card

I had to make a card right away with one of the stamps in my newest Stampers Best Haul. I just loved these vintage ladies. I found some paper that looked very vintage along with some trims from my stash and created this card. I also used one of the newest friendship sentiments stamps that I got in my Stampers Best order also. Thanks for looking.

FFA Fair Time

It is time for fair to be starting soon and this year my daughter is raising a pig which will be auctioned off at the fair. She is using it as her project for FFA. It has taught her many good lessons. She had to hand write buyers letters to give to local business for them to come to the auction and support the students by buying their pigs. She decided to create her very own stationery to hand write her letters on. We did some research online to find some cute pig treats that we could make to give the potential buyers a little treat. I had a window box cut file on my Silhouette machine that I cut out and assembled. I punched out an oval from a tag punch and stamped the words FFA on them in black. We found the recipe for these adorable pig cookies on the Taste of Home website. We made 36 of them and handed out 29 buyers letters so we hope that we get good results from all the hard work!!!

Digi Darla weekly challenge

I am glad to be participating again in the Digi Darla challenges. I was the guest designer last month and had so much fun using their images. I LOVE them and how cute and easy to color they are. If you haven't checked them out yet and LOVE digital images you really need to, they can be found here. They have great prices on their images. They also have a blog and hold weekly challenges which is located here. The challenge this week is using a sketch created by Karen Wilson. I really do love using sketches and this one was fun to work with. I used a strip of DCWV plaid paper and the circle was cut using my Fiskars circle cutter and Echo Park "So Happy Together" patterned paper. I inked the edges of the circle with some Versamagic dye ink to give it some pop. The image is a fun cupcake that DigiDarla sells and I colored the image with my Copics and added some Stickles for the frosting. The metal/pearl embellishments are from Studio 112 and the flowers were from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Marker Pop Challenge

I learned about a new blog called Marker Pop from Samantha at Scrapmaster's Paradise who is the owner of SP&Company Stamps. The challenge this week was to color in fur or hair. So I created this card using a digital image that I had printed out and wanted to color in. I used the items that came with my June SP&Company kit which was the Echo Park "So Happy Together" paper pack and the Mix and Match Sentiments "Kids" stamp set. I used the banner from a Dear Lizzy stamp set and the words are from the SP&Company stamp set. The puffy cloud sticker is a Pebbles sticker. Thanks for looking.
