DigiDarla Weekly Challenge

The challenge on DigiDarla this week is "Circles and Scallops". I love both of them so it wasn't hard to complete this challenge. I used some patterned paper from Making Memories. The polka dot paper went well with the circle theme. I cut a circle out of the polka dot paper using my Fiskars circle cutter. I used my Fiskars border punch that has scallops and circles to create borders for the top and bottom of the card. I love this adorable little boy image. My sentiment came from a Stamps of Life exclusive stamp set that I got when I was a stamp club member. I used my Fiskars scalloped circle squeeze punch to punch out some patterned paper that I used to stamp my sentiment on. Thanks for looking.

Digi Darla Weekly Challenge

The challenge this week at DigiDarla is "baby". So I used this cute adorable little froggie image to make a card. I used some pattern paper from the Echo Park "For the Record 2" patterned paper as a background. The sentiment is from SP&Company set called "Stitchery Doo Banners" and I stamped the banner in Menmento Ink and then the sentiment is in Mowed Lawn distress ink. TFL

Digital Card Challenge

I love using digital stamps and this place has some super cute images. I used one of their super cute mouse images. I love coffee so this is one of my favorites. I used a fun coffee background stamp from My Creative Time called "Coffee break" stamped in gathered twig distress ink. I inked the image around with Picked Raspberry. I used some kraft paper and scored it to make it look like an authetentic coffee sleeve. I used some Echo Park For the Record 2 patterned paper. I used a Fiskars border punch and I made a roseette flower out of some cardstock.

Digitial Image Progressive Challenge

I have loved receiving digital images from here to use in my projects. They have challenges where you get an image to play along with and some times you have the chance to win some cool prizes. I loved using this lazy cat image to make a card. I decided that it would be fun to paper piece the chair and so I used some my Minds Eye Stella and Rose collection. I added some buttons from my stash for the buttons on the chair. I colored the kitten with my Copics. I used some vintage lace that I had found at my local thrift store behind the image. I used my Fiskars border punch to punch out the grey piece of paper. I punched a piece of cardstock using a label punch and wrote in a sentiment. Thanks for looking.

Digi Darla challenge

This week the challenge at DigiDarla is "Thinking of you/Sympathy". I chose the thinking of you. I used an adorable little girl image which I colored in with my Copics. The card base I cut out on my Silhouette die cutting machine. I added some green cardstock on the inside so it would show off the beautiful cut out flowers from the front of the card. I used Echo Park "For the Record 2" patterned paper on the front of the card. I added a piece of vintage lace from my stash along with a Fiskars sentiment stamp that I stamped using my Vintage Photo distress ink and then punched out with my Fiskars squeeze punch. Thanks for looking.

Digi Darla Weekly Challenge

The weekly challenge here at DigiDarla is "Bling It Up". I do love bling so this challenge was an easy one. I found this adorable chickie image to use. The patterned paper that I used was the Echo Park "For the Record 2" from Lori Whitlock that I received from the SP&Company August kit. I used some trim from my stash that I colored with Lindy Stamp gang spray and Glimmer mist. The damask is a cut file that I used from "Lori Whitlock" and cut with my Silhouette machine. I added a flower bling to it. I used some Recollections bling on the bottom along with some silk flowers. Thanks for another great challenge.

Progressive Challenge

I love using digital images on my cards. I had so much fun following along with challenges on this site and using beautiful images created by talented ladies. The image we were given to use was a fun surfboard image. I thought this image went perfect with an older Stamps of Life stamp set that I owned so that is what I used for the sun and the sentiment. I used an EK Success punch to punch out card stock and then stamp the sentiment.
