Filekutz challenge

I know that I have been missing for awhile but life has been busy. I found some time yesterday to create 4 cards and a couple of scrapbook layouts. I love using my Silhouette when creating and this wonderful site has some great challenges and files for cutting. Here are a couple layouts I created where I used the fancy tags.

Scrapbooking Supplies

One of my favorite places online to buy scrapbooking goodies is here. There are a couple of reasons that I LOVE them and one is because they offer free shipping with any $25 purchase. I also love that they carry so many wonderful brands and products. They have very good and fast service so if you are in need of some new scrapbooking goodies, please check them out!!

Mothers Day cards

I decided to use an adorable flower free cutting file that I received here. The ornate frame with the words Mom cut out is from the Silhouette online store. I also used the Silhouette to cut out the words Happy Mothers Day from a font that I purchased at the Silhouette online store. The blue patterned paper is from Basic Grey and I am not sure of the manufacturer on the pink paper as it was from my scrap stash.

Digital Image Challenge

I had fun creating this weekend with some digital images and entering challenges. The first was a sketch challenge that I found here:

I used some Basic Grey patterned paper for the background. I used some Stamps of Life stamps for the circles and the words that would describe a little baby. This was a very fun digital image to work with. The arrow and sentiment were also from a recent Stamps of Life set.

Lilly Pad Card Chain Challenge

I decided that I would like to participate in this card chain challenge that I found here. It sounded like a lot of fun and I do love to receive homemade cards. I decided for this card that I would use a sketch that I had saved. The patterned paper that I used was from GCD Studios and the cardstock was from my scrap paper stash. I used Eygptian gold embossing powder and a Stamps of life special edition stamp set that was given to members with their monthly stamp set to stamp on the green cardstock. I chose to go with the friendship theme and used a Hero Arts stamp set for the sentiment. I also used the color pallette that was given. Thank you for looking and I hope the recipient of my card enjoys receiving it.
