SP Stamping challenge

I received my January SP & CO monthly kit and love the sentiments and the wonderful frame to put them in. I decided to participate in the challenge going on at their blog here. The challenge was to use the "Rock and Roll" technique. It might be kind of hard to tell but I did use this method for the tree, tree and owl on my card. Those all come from a Hampton Arts footlong set that I found at my local Big Lots and then I used the sentiment from my monthly kit.

Digital Card Challenge

This is the second card I made today with that same image from here. I also used some paper scraps and colored the image in with my Copic markers. Thanks for looking.

Digital image Progressive challenge

I completed a couple cards today for the Progressive Challenge going on here. They send you fun images to use on your projects. I decided to use up some of my paper scraps and color in this fun image with my Copic markers. I used Tim Holtz distress inks to blend in for the sky and water. Thanks for looking.

Digital Image card

I participated in a blog hop here and was lucky enough to be one of the winner that received a cute digital image. The one I received is called "Pocket mouse" I decided to create a quick card using the image. I colored the image in with my Copic and Promarkers. I placed in on the front of a placecard that I had cut out with my Silhouette machine. I added some polka dot patterned paper on the background from my stash. I then used some MS (Martha Stewart) butterflies from a punch. I also added some distress stickles to the pocket. Thanks for looking.

Card challenge

There is a fun card sketch challenge on the My Minds Eye blog here. I really liked this sketch I chose to use the My Minds Eye "love me" patterned paper for my two circles. The image is a digital image that I received from here because I am participating in the Progressive Challenge. The craft tag behind the image is from Paper Accents. I used a Basic Grey stitched brad in the corner of the image that I colored with my Copic markers. I used my MS sweethearts and Heart Lattice border punches to make some fun lacey borders to place across the card. I used an aryclic flower that I purchased from papermart.com. This was a very fun sketch to follow. Thanks for looking.

Challenge Card

I recently bought my first Authentique paper pack and so I have had fun making some cards with it. I love the sketch that you can find on thier blog here. I made this very simple and followed the sketch closely. I used some seam binding from my stash at the bottom of the card and tied a bow in it. I used my Spellbinders Label 23 die to cut out the patterned paper. These papers were also perfect for the red, pink and white challenge going on here. Thanks for looking.

Another sketch challenge card

I recently ordered my very first paper pad from Authentique paper. I found that they have a blog and do a layout and card sketch so I decided to make a card for the challenge. You can find the challenge here. I really love this sketch and will add it to my composition book filled with lots of different card sketches. The paper pack that I used for this sketch was the Uncommon paper line. I used 3 different pieces of the patterned papers. The image in the center was cut out using my new Spellbinders Label 23 dies. I used a heart from a stamp set that I have had for quite awhile. I embossed it in white embossing powder on the newsprint paper from the Uncommon Authentique stack and then blended in some Worn Lipstick distress ink so the heart would really stand out. I add some seam binding that I dyed using my Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Color Shot in the Alpine Ice Rose color. I added a vintage button from my stash. The flat back pearls are one that I got from Karlas001's etsy store. The sentiment cames from the Utlimate Sentiments II stamp set from SP &Company. Thanks for looking.

Sweet Stamps blog card challenge

I found a fun challenge here which was "Hearts". I love hearts so Valentine is my very favorite holiday!! I used the latest Echo Park paper "Yours Truly" from my December SP&Company monthly kit for the patterned paper. The card was created using a sketch that I had in my sketch composition book where I keep card sketches that I find from many sources. The gal that created this sketch was Nicole Anderson. I used my Martha Stewart heart button punch and punched out some more of the Echo Park patterned paper and used some twine that I purchased on Etsy. The pink twine was some that I received in one of my monthly SP&Company kits. The stamped sentiment on the bottom of the card was from the Ulitmate Sentiments II stamp set from SP&Company. I love SP&Company stamps and can't wait each month to get my kit.
