Great sheet set

I found a great website that offers you many products to apply to review. I was able to get this amazing sheet set for my queen bed from Amazon.  They are made by a company called Nestl and are a deluxe bedding set. They have 1800 triple piping design, they are machine washable and have deep pockets for those large mattresses. They are so soft and luxurious feeling. Thanks for offering such an amazing sheet set for a great price.




They fit great on my bed and definitely have enough room at the end to tuck a fair amount under at the foot of the bed so they wont come untucked.

February Designer Challenge

I love using My Creative Time dies and stamps.  They have a monthly inspiration challenge that is fun to enter.  You can find them here.  I took an orange cardstock base and then used a rectangle die from the "Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More to cut out some Coredinations cardstock.  I then cut a piece of aqua cardstock with the rectangle die and placed another piece of Coredinations cardstock that I sanded down to make it a lighter color.  I added a banner out of glitter paper using a die.  I then added a seam binding ribbon and bow to the left hand side.  I used the "thanks" die from the "Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More.  I added a beautiful paper flower that my friend made.  Thanks for looking

My Creative Time Designer Challenge

I have grown to love the stamps and dies that Emma offers at her wonderful company called "My Creative Time".  They have a designer challenge each month.  You can find this months challenge here.     I chose to use a Recollections square kraft cardstock base.  I then added a rectangle of wood grain paper that I cut using My Creative time die.  I used a scalloped die to make a couple of borders that I added to the top and bottom of the rectangle.  I die cut a piece of script patterned paper using the stitched rectangle die from My Creative Time.   I then found a cute Valentine vintage image from the Internet that I printed out on cardstock and die cut using a die.    I cut out some banners using dies and I adhered the 3 banners to the wood grain paper.  I then added the other rectangles to the top of the banners.  I then adhered a beautiful heart sticker that I got at the Dollar Tree last year.  Thanks for looking

Blog Candy: I thought it would be fun to offer up some blog candy. Whether you want to put together a traditional blog candy or what about your favorite hot holiday beverage recipe? This is definitely NOT a requirement but something to add some additional fun to the hop.

I LOVE coffee and so I couldn't resist entering this super fun challenge.  I have a TON of coffee themed stamps and dies and actually discovered some new ones that I didn't have.  I created a 5 X 7 card using a white card base and some red patterned papers from my stash.  I chose the Lawn Fawn Love You a Latte stamp set to stamp out some cups and die cut with the matching dies.  I then colored the to go coffee cup with my R24 Copic marker and the coffee inside the other two cups with my E33 and E35 Copic markers.  I then cut a frame out using the My Creative Time stitched rectangle dies.  I put a piece of cardstock inside the frame and stamped out the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Perk Up stamp set.  I then pop dotted the coffee cup and mugs up at the bottom.  I also added a wood veneer doughnut from the Prima Coffee Break collection.  Thanks for looking and please go over to Amy's blog to enter this fun challenge.

My Creative Time Designer Challenge

I have recently discovered a great stamp company that makes dies also.  They have matching dies and stamp sets.  They are great quality and made in the USA.  You can find them here.  They have a designer challenge and here is what is required this time around.   I had a lot of fun using the great sketch that was included.  The base of the card is 5 X 7 and I used my circle dies to cut out lots of different sizes of circles.  I added a piece of Echo Park designer paper to the card base and then arranged the circles in a fun pattern on the top.  I made sure they overlapped the card and then after gluing them down I cut off the excess.  I then used a piece of bakers twine to wrap around the circles and I placed a birthday sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.  This was a fun challenge and I hope you participate as well.

Pocket card for Tsunami Rose Designs

Here is my second design team project for Tsunami Rose Designs printables.  I created a 6 X 6 pocket card.  I used the vintage digital paper for the front of my card and then I added a piece of black foil paper on the back.  I used a tag from the vintage children pack on the upper right hand corner.  I added a Prima butterfly clip to the left of the pocket.  I placed a chalkboard sticker above the image on the digital paper.  I added some Recollections rhinestone stickers on it.  I added some rhinestone animal print stickers to the bottom right hand corner of the card.  I placed some Recollections paper butterflies to the middle of the card.  I used a piece of kraft cardstock for the inside of my card.  I cut out the top with a Fiskar Apron Lace border punch.  I glued on a piece of rose digital paper from Tsunami Rose Designs.

TsunamiRose Designs Design Team Project

My first project this month using some of Tsunami Rose Design printables is an anniversary card for my parents. You can find these amazing printable here and some of them are soon going to be discontinued so you may want to hurry over before it is too late.  You can find retiring designs here.  I chose to make this a 5 X 7 card and so I fold a piece of 8 1/2 X 11 cardstock in half.  I added some light blue cardstock and gold cardstock on the base.  I then added some floral patterned paper from my stash that went with the colors.  I used a Fiskars border punch to punch out a strip of blue cardstock that was adhered on top of the floral paper.  I then took the lovely vintage couple image from Tsunami Rose designs that is a 6 X 6 printed paper and placed it on the top part of the card.  I then added some blue lace trim from Recollections and heart stickers on either end of the lace trim.  I added a paper butterfly under the right heart.  I added some tags from the Tsunami Rose Designs printable to the right hand side of the card.     I took some pearl bling and added it to the bottom of the card.  I tucked a Tsunami Rose Design printable tag to the bottom left of the printed couple paper.  I added a metal word love from Michaels onto the ticket.  I then created a flower cluster that I placed between the ticket and the tags on my card.  I added a metal heart that I bought off of Ebay.  I then stamped a LOVE sentiment on the inside of the card.

May Challenge on SeemaCrafts blog

I found a new place to get digital images here and this month's theme is "Butterflies and Rainbows".  You can play along if you wish and the information is on the blog here.

 I started with an Stampin UP card base in A2 size.  I added some Echo Park patterned paper with polka dots.  I stamped out a flower stamp from my collection and colored the stems with my Copic markers.  I then used the butterfly digital image from Seemacrafts and used my Stickle collection to glitter in the wings and give them some sparkle and dimension.   I added a sentiment from a rubber stamp in my collection as well that talked about love and butterflies.  The sentiment was stamped in Memento black ink on a Spellbinder die and added to the top left hand side of the card.  I added some Recollections heart pearl trim to the top of the card as well.  Thanks for looking.

Vintage Challenge

I found a fun new place to get digital images.  You can find the blog and challenge here.  The theme for this month's challenge is vintage.  I really do love the vintage feel but have a hard time creating something in that theme sometimes.  I used a white cardstock base and the patterned paper is from Prima Engraver paper pack.  I chose to use 2 different patterns.   I added the two patterned papers on top of each other and then fussy cut an image to place in the lower right hand corner of my card.  I cut out a tree trunk from some of the brown Prima paper and used a piece of green cardstock to make a tree top.  I inked around the tree top with my ColorBox chalk ink.  I colored up the adorable owl image from Seemacrafts and added it to the tree.  I cut out a banner from a Sizzix die and stamped a sentiment from a Stamps of Life stamp set.  Thanks for looking and I hope you come over and join us in this fun challenge. 

Last Design Team Project for LIttle Blue Button Stamps

This will be my last post as a designer for Little Blue Button Stamps. I have enjoyed working with Olga and all the of the wonderful ladies on this great design team.  Olga's images are so amazing to color in and I appreciate the chance to work with them so I could improve my coloring.  I will continue to keep in touch via Facebook with Olga's designs and hopefully purchase more of them.

I chose to use Jessica smarty and Jessica long dress for my Hello cards.  The first card is on a 5 X 7 white card-stock base.  I used a pink scalloped card stock that I inked with pink chalk ink and then adhered to the card front.  I then used a piece of BoBunny Prairie Chic patterned paper on top of the pink scalloped piece.  I then adhered another strip of patterned paper that I cut out using my scalloped scissors to the bottom of the card.  I adhered a beautiful piece of pink rosette trim to the left side of the card and then adhered a silver heart button to the bottom of the rosette trim.  I colored up the Jessica Smarty image using my Copic markers and then I adhered black Enamel Accents to the purse and shoes.  I added glossy accents to Jessica's glasses so they appear much more realistic.  I took a Papertrey ink label die and cut it out using a piece of white card stock and that I then stamped my sentiment on using Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I then added 2 aqua enamel dots on either side of the sentiment.

 

The second card I created using Jessica "Long dress".  I took a white 5 X 7 card stock base. I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the BoBunny Prairie Chic paper collection.  I then adhered another piece of floral patterned paper from that same paper collection that I cut using my scalloped scissors.  I adhered a small thin strip of patterned paper in between the two papers.  I cut out a beautiful rose card from the Recollections "Simply Pastel" paper pack and inked around the edge with pink chalk ink.  I adhered the rose card to the bottom right hand corner of the card.  I then made a cluster of flowers with some very pretty pink flowers.  I used an adorable flair button with a bird on it on the top of the flowers and I added a small pink pearl to the bottom of the flower cluster.  I colored the Jessica image up with my Copic markers.  I added glossy accents to her eyes and black enamel accents to her shoe.   I then cut out a Papertrey ink label die and stamped my sentiment using Memento Tuxedo black ink.  Thanks for looking.
